Spring OL Preview: How quickly can Syracuse football’s hippos develop?

All comes down to Bleich, IMO.

If he is allowed to play, I think we'll see a continuation of the solid OL play after we shuffled the lineup the last 1/3 of last season.

If not, then some players need to step up.

While I agree that Bleich would be a tremendous addition, and likely really solidify our line this year;
even if the NCAA coin toss comes out Tails, the returning guys should be much-improved, given their play the last 3 games.

We're only replacing 1 starter, right? Adams?
While that's definitely a hole, we have Anthony Red, Darius Tisdale and Patrick Davis, and Qadir White all as viable options in case Bleich isn't allowed to play.

The other 4 guys should all be basically entrenched (pun intended) at their positions now, and if they close the sieve like they did those 3 games (I think we went from like 5+ sacks/game to < 2?), then TD and the O should be MUCH more effective overall.

I did like Patrick Davis, hope he can avoid the injury bug this year. I could see him legitimately challenging to start at G, replacing Adams.

And it will be interesting to see what Tisdale, Red, White, Davis, etc. are able to do. Would like to see all of those guys tangibly compete for PT this year -- given us better depth than last year.

Who is our center in 2020 again? All the rosters just list our line as OL

I think they will be (or at least seem to be much improved). I think play calling and some legit home run speed help them immensely.
