Wake is a mess right now, its to bad we don't play them for 3 + weeks. UNC will be enormous for the season, a win there gets you right back on track and on the cusp of bowl eligibility. A loss would be devastating.

Wake is going to run all day, Pitt style. Their freshman QB likes to throw INT without getting destroyed by Robinson and Coleman.

Only 2 more wins would be extremely disappointing given where we stand now, but I'd hardly say a failure.

That would mean a bowl game - the first in 5 years and only the 6th since the turn of the century.

If you asked anybody in August how they'd feel if we were 4-2 right now, heading into the bye week, and mostly healthy, 99.44% of them would've taken that in a heartbeat!!

Yes, these were 2 disappointing losses, mostly due to how close they were to being wins.
But we're still on schedule for getting to a bowl game, and maybe more.

Rest up this week, take care of bidness vs UNCheat the following week, and then see how we stack up against NC State.

I kinda don't care what numbers say. I'm not drawing conclusions about how bad anyone is on our schedule until we play them. All I heard on here with a few exceptions was that Pitt sucked and we should pound them.

They still suck. They just happened to be good at the one thing we suck at.

Numbers help in understanding what could happen, but still gotta play.
