If we blitz a triple option we will lose. The triple option is designed to roll downhill quickly and force the defense to make decisions on the fly. Blitzing puts our guys up field and out of position. If we blitz too often somebody is going to run right past their assignment and that is where they gut you.

The game might be decided with our front 4. If they fill and keep lineman off our LB's we will have a good day. Given the strength of our LB's I am guessing that CB will try to force the play laterally. When that happens, this offense has a lot of pitches and we know what that can cause.

If we get them in 3rd and 5 or 6 we will get off the field most of the time. If they get 5 or 6 on first it will be tough to stop them.

I will be interested to see if we do our normal pre-snap sugar. It is basically useless vs Ga Tech because the QB will not be reading before the snap he will be reacting after the snap.

If we are disciplined and throttle back on the blitzes we will take these guys. Since Shafer has been preparingfor GT since last summer I imagine that is exactly what he has been trying to instill in an otherwise aggressive bunch of players. Now, we will see how smart they are.
