Interesting read on ESPN on how NFL architects are thinking about designing stadiums. Seattle's has a unique design that traps in sound. The 49ers new stadium focuses on connection with the team and Im not sure what the vikings are going for as they mostly talk about the roof.

It's fun to think about a new stadium for us, an a replica of Seattle's stadium would be incredible, as I thin our fan identity would be Loud - after all the years in the Dome. I know we've beaten the new stadium discussion to death. There probably won't be any movement on a stadium for many years, but fun to think about.

I was surprised about how nice Baylor's new stadium looked on the tour videos I have seen. It cost $250 million, which is a ton of money of course. But compared to some stadium prices these days, it was really nice for the price imho.

They did cut some corners to save money. It make me wonder what else they may have done.

Love the Dome. Only thing I wish they'd really do is paint the seats orange.

New Seats and do something about the concrete and a new hard roof.

do something about the concrete

Not to sound too sarcastic but are you referring to the whole building? Perhaps the outside could use a face lift.

One thing I never understood is why the food is always so sub par. Baseball stadiums are righting the ship these days with good food from local vendors and local flavors. Where are the salt potatoes and hoffman hot dogs? I'm all for paying for over priced food if it's better than dome dogs.

I agree about the food completely. The concrete I was talking about the inside of the Dome, get rid of the grey. I don't care how.

It's kind of like a house, I don't care as much about the outside as long as it is presentable. As long as the inside is top notch because that is where I spend the time.

I've been saying they should brick 1/3 of the way up for years.. This would totally upgrade the appearance and cost fractions of a new stadium. Then change out that ugly asphalt for some pavers, outdoor seating ... and maybe an atrium attached to the dome for food/drink.
