State of the Big 2

I've been bleeding Orange since my freshman year in '87. Has there been a worse year since then for the Big 2 sports? 3-9 in football and 18-12 and probation in hoops. Maybe one the GERG year when we went 1-11? Really looking forward to next year.

I'm spoiled I guess. I admit to fading this year on SU sports for the first time in my adult life. Hope it gets better.

best thing about the lax games is the number of young kids able to attend. very cost friendly .

I am always an optimist!!

Hoops will be fine. It will be great. We have a great recruiting class coming in. And when JB does leave and Hop takes over I expect a pretty smooth transition with that. Maybe we take a slight hit in recruiting for a couple of years until players see what Hop can accomplish.

Football has the new practice facilities, and that will help. I think it is a project, but I think we at least get to respectability and bowl game level again. Not sure if we will need a coaching change again for that to happen. This coming year will tell the answer.
