At this point, after crap like students rallying outside his house, and having a vigil on Main Street, I'm sure he's become entirely disconnected from reality and thinks he really didn't do much wrong. That is, if he didn't before.

It's tough when people do things to you? Pray for the victims? Does this sound like someone who has any grasp of what he did?
