Because SU plays zone defense exclusively, opposing teams tend to shoot from farther distances (even beyond the 3-point line).  Shots from farther away tend to result in long caroms off the rim when missed, creating greater chances for guards at the top of the zone to grab those rebounds. I imagine the numbers would show that when our guards got more defensive rebounds, our team overall had a better winning percentage.  Dion and MCW were great at getting rebounds due to their length and jumping ability.  We had other teams that did well without the higher numbers because we were a running team (guards leaking out to try and get ahead of the defense) but overall, I have to guess if our guards rebound well, we do well.
