Way to go Steve. Another Orange member in the NFL.

Their OC is a Southern Tier kid. Graduated from my High School (Southwestern) same class as my little brother.

OT Jehuu Culcrick (Michigan State/Clymer NY) is now the head coach for football.

One of the reasons our passing game is down this year is talent at WR. Boy do we miss Ish (and Emba-T) these days, NFL caliber guys. Our current stock is nowhere near it.

Cyclical nature of things stinks sometimes. Last years LBs/WRs with the rest of this years team would be incredible. But I guess most teams feel that way as strengths/weaknesses evolve year to year.

Revisionist history at best. The fact is AET was noboby before he came here and flourished in our system. I believe he was like 3rd on the Maryland depth chart his senior year...yes THAT Maryland.

So what? His senior year was fantastic. Our current corps of WRs is simply not as talented as the past few, is all I’m saying. Jamal Custsis ain’t gonna be on any NFL practice squad like those guys are.

Actually his senior year he did squat. His Grad year was fantastic. AET was a grad transfer who not one NFL guy was looking at coming out MD. He's also not currently on a squad anywhere, practice or regular. He flourished in Dino's system but isn't an elite talent.

I will say that the crew we have now is vastly more talented they just havent got there yet.

I agree. But at the same time, I think we have a couple young WR’s who are very talented. AET was a 5th year guy. Ish was a senior with a ton of playing time under his belt when he exploded. Estime took a couple years. He was a dangerous big play threat as an upperclassman. Phillips found his niche as a possession receiver as an upperclassman.

Harris and Johnson have shown more and more as the season has gone on. I think when they’re juniors/seniors they’ll be just as productive or moreso as the guys named above. More an experience issue than a talent one IMO.

Jamal is our best veteran, and while he is having a nice year, I agree that he’s not as good as Ishmael or Etta Tawo.

I wouldn't dismiss Custis at this point. He has great measureables and is having a very good year.

we dont throw nearly as much to 1-2 guys this year and we run way more so the WR stats will be down a bit.

I am loving this for Ish!

My argument for AET in the league would be that he was a receiver that got separation and could take the top off of a defense. AET could single-handedly be a difference maker. I am shocked he is not with a team. I can't fathom it.

It's the same way I can't fathom Sean Hickey never moving up. He was a wall as a left tackle for us. He regularly plugged the opponent's best pass rusher and you could tell the difference when he wasn't in the game

Okay you win bro. Our past receiving corps sucked. Oppositional defiance disorder or something?

AET does not absolutely embarrass Melifonwu if he’s not a pro calibre receiver

I think Amba was recently signed to the Giants practice squad. I think he's still there. Maybe he will get the call when the Giants trade Beckham for a 1st and 2nd round draft choice.

AET was signed by the NYG to their practice squad in late September. He was cut on October 4.

Could it be he didn't respond well to being bullied?
