I'm surprised that Murray State leapfrogged Duke and Kansas. I don't care if those two teams did lose last week, Murray State's big wins over SEMO and Tennessee-Martin just aren't doing it for me. Murray State's 7 point win over a 3-22 Tenn Martin squad should have dropped them out of the polls altogether. Well don't worry they've got tough matchups this week against a 15-10 Tennessee State team and they follow that up with a 9-16 Austin-Peay squad.

I agree. I cant believe they are climbing the polls at the rate they are. The thing is it wont matter because the ywont get a top 4-5 seed in the NCAA;s regardless of if they go undefeated or not.

At the end of the day, it's a nice story, and it's good for the kids on the team and at that school.

The polls are largely meaningless anyways, so why not give them something they can hang their hat on.

Its shocking to be honest. Never belonged in the top 15 imo. Can't wait for selection Sunday and all the uproar about undefeated Murray St getting a 6 seed having to play 11th seeded Pitt. I like the little guys as much as anyone but to have Murray, St Marys, SD St, Creighton and UNLV all in the top 16 is just weird. I'd bet no more than 1 of them get a 1-4 seed. Thank goodness ESPN matched up Murray and St mary's with each other for the bracket buster. But if all you do is play another possibly over ranked team do you prove anything by beating them?

I'm willing to bet Murray St won't make it past the 1st weekend of the tourney.

If Murray gets upset once in the regular season and loses early in their conference tourney they could legitimately not make the tournament with only 2 losses.

And I would find that hilarious.
