106th in Ypg and 64th in yards per play

Pretty amazing they scored 24 on 4 yards per play yesterday

I've got 43rd in Yards per play against non D2 schools. https://www.team rankings.com/college-football/stat/yards-per-play

Also, I am trying to find points per possession because to me that is offensive efficiency. Each team is going to have the ball an equal number of times, whether we win 21-14 or 42 to 28 due to a doubling of possessions doesnt tell me anything about how much better our offense is or how worse our defense is.

It's an easy stat to find in basketball but apparently impossible in football.

I think by season's end these two data points will start to get closer...and closer to the YPP #. With Dungey and Erv back against our peer group, I thinkl we see some good things.

My guess is your site isn't updated for the weekend yet

cfbstats is already updated after yesterday's games, maybe that's the difference

No, mine is updated through the end of day yesterday too but your includes D2 schools but mine is D1 only. looking at your it looks they CFBstats includes all games regardless of division.

edit: so i just looked and you can click on the FBS to see just those games and it adjusts us to 44th in yards per play. so division was definitely the difference. I like your site better overall, think i will use that from now on.

No turnovers but special teams showed up yesterday. Estime had around 200 return yards and Dixon pinned them deep 3 times.

we also didnt score at the end of the half because of running of time and then missing the FG. when the D is scoring like it has been thats also a big plus. reverse the LSU punt return and the one Bris was a step away and we win the game. thats a scary though
