...zero or one pass possessions and then a contested shot. Enough of them went in today that it wasnt an issue but we make it harder than it has to be. Other than that no big complaints i thought we played well. Actually i thought uconn played pretty well too

Easy there...I too have thought we shoot to fast...but in a couple of pressers over the past month, JB has said he wants team to take shot when open...he is not a believer in taking the clock down nor does he believe there must be 5, 6, 7 touches or more...JB says shoot when you are open...so I have neither problem nor concern with 1 or two passes and shoot...

Still there were too many *bad* shots early in possessions. Prime example--when we had gone up by 10 in the first half (35-25), and proceeded to take bad shots on 3 consecutive trips, letting the UC's right back into the game.

Exactly. Early shots are fine. Early contested J's are not.
