Straight talk - fan prep for NYC weather

Alrighty sports fans, I'm flying in tonight for the MSG and Yankee Stadium games. How's the weather right now?

Should I bring full on hat, gloves, scarf and long john type stuff, or is it a little milder than that?

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best! Saturdays high in the mid 40s, wind but some sun so tailgate temp likely in the 30s.

Layers my man! Thick soled shoes too. A pair of hot chillys under your pants and a few layers and you should be fine. I have a light down jacket that keeps me pretty warm and a shell to keep the wind out. It's easy to take off a layer if it gets too warm.

A hat/toque to keep your head warm, easily removable and most heat is lost through your head!

Just bring plenty of body paint for Saturday. We need a backup "E" for O-R-A-N-G-E.

The best advice for cold games at Yankee Stadium will always be to bring a blanket to cover your legs if you anticipate sitting.
