I think the student section to date has been the best we’ve had in MANY years. Serious props to them. They come out in force and are LOUD.

Anyone have any idea why the students are so good this year? It kind of came out of nowhere, I love it but how are they doing this?? Is the Athletics department marketing the games more/getting them more engaged? Love it!

Maybe it's a case of you don't know what you got til it's gone, and game attendance was taken from them last year.

They were great. Showed up in numbers. They were loud. They stayed for the whole game. Loved it! Good job students. You make a huge difference in game atmosphere.

They did show up in full force! But I wouldn't say they stayed for the whole game. A good portion of them did, maybe 70%. I certainly don't expect all of them to stay, but the 300 level overflow student section somewhat cleared out prior to the end of the game.

All that said, they are doing a nice job getting there and being involved. Much better than years past.

Part of it might be we have essentially 2 classes of kids who have never seen a game in the dome. Last year’s freshman and this year’s freshman. Everyone is going and they are loud

Kind of the rule . The kids that are really into it are there before kickoff and into it. The kids that get there in the second Q get herded upstairs and leave early.
