Student Section is full..?

My roommate just went to the box office to buy a student seat, they sold him a seat in section 213 and said if he gets there early enough, he could be in the regular student section. Now I assume by this measure that the student section is full, yes...?

I have never tried explaining anything the university does with seating. They hold seats all the time in all sections..although i have never heard of them holding student seats. Maybe they want the students to be close to the Clemson fans which would be in 111,214,313 area...I DOUBT thats what they did but that would actually be interesting to move the students next to the visitors sections

Just seems to me if they are seating students in 213 after we heard from another student that they were seating them in 307 a few days ago that a lot of students have bought seats.

I was a student from '91-'95 and a season ticket holder from '96-'03 and the student section was full lots of times.

And this year it sure seems the % of student section is more full than the rest of the Dome.

I have had season tickets in Section 210 for 20+ years and when there is a large student turnout we have had some students sitting near us. I think it's a great since that they are selling student tickets in the 200 and 300 level.

As the team starts winning the students will stay more and more. You have to realize the current seniors have seen seasons of 8-5, 5-7, 8-5. And that's been the best record for any group of students for a long time.

My time there we were 3-9, 4-8, 8-5, 5-7. After the first two years you would struggle to find a bunch of juniors or seniors in the dome.

Good stuff. I thought student overflow ran into the 300 level before the 200 but perhaps I'm wrong. I would be amazed if students had sold out the 100 and 300 sections but perhaps they arent holding the 300 section for them any longer? or perhaps I should be prepared to be surprised?

There wasn't a student section for McNabb's last game. It was over Thanksgiving break against Miami and we crushed them.

I was there and had student season tickets that year. That ticket was separate.

On Ticketmaster there is a block of approximately 100 tickets available for sale in Section 213, Rows B - .

It's a great location for the students right above the Clemson fans !!!!

I love the fact that the university put the students there to off set some of the crowd noise from the visiting fans.

Can one of you guys explain how the advance student tickets work? I thought the whole student section was GA so why do any of the tickets have a section assigned? Don't they do the same thing as basketball where the first ones to show up get the best seats? Do any students camp out for football games, I know it happens for basketball.

McNabb's last home game was over Thanksgiving break. The student section was nearly non-existent and the game wasn't even included in the regular student season ticket package, it had to be bought as an add on that cost almost as much as all the other games combined.

So if I can follow along. Your new point is that the only reason the 1998 Miami game was a full student section was because of the locals? And that the student section hasn't been full since? Or still hasn't been full ever?

I think you're digging the hole deeper. No one is going to care or remember if you just decide to move onto a new thread, and we'll let this one archive itself out of circulation.
