It appears as though Fonte's injury has kept her out of doubles. However, she is listed in the singles lineup on the live stats. More updates on that to come later on.

A strong service game to close things out from Rajecki and Miller gives them a 6-3 win over Kanapatskaya and Ito.

That clinches the doubles point for the Wolfpack. They will leave the other match unfinished with Kimoto and Kozyreva leading 4-3.

0-1.

In good news for Syracuse, it looks like Fonte is playing!

It has been confirmed that Kanapatskaya has retired from her match in No. 2 singles. I am not sure what the injury was that forced her to back out early. Rajecki wins 6-1 (ret.) to extend the Wolfpack lead.

0-2.

The news goes from bad to worse as Fonte retires from her match early second set. It seemed as though she was moving around alright in the first set, but clearly the ankle injury she suffered last week is still lingering. Miller wins 6-2, 2-0 (ret.)

0-3.

Smith, the 9th ranked player in the country, was in control from start to finish in a 6-0, 6-2 win over Erman.

After two retirements from Syracuse and this result, NC State clinches the dual very quickly. The last three matches on court will play out.

0-4.

Ito improved in the second set but Zyryanova gets the job done in a 6-1, 6-4 victory.

0-5.

About a minute after Zyryanova's win, Rencheli finishes the job in No. 3 singles. She had an impressive second set showing, defeating Kimoto 6-4, 6-1.

Just one match remains on court, where Kozyreva leads Dittmann 6-4, 4-2.

0-6.

Kozyreva gets the job done in a 6-4, 6-4 win over Dittmann. She ended the match strong, using her forehand to facilitate points. Syracuse avoids getting shutout.

1-6.
