The only thing I can think of is that the women played at 4 pm.

My guess is that they wanted to give the women plenty of time to shower and dress after the game before the men came in to get ready for the second game.

Thats soccer…

SU controlled the first 10 minutes; after that UNCC took control of the game. The Orange looked flustered and were playing like it. In the last 8 minutes or so of the half SU was working there way back into the game and then a flubbed back pass that resulted in UNCC’s second goal.

The Orange was much better in the second half and controlled the game. It felt like a second SU goal was coming, and it felt like a third would come.

UNCC is good and tall and physical. SU learned and got better.

Props to the women’s bball team for leading us in the LGO chant.

Kind of interesting that Charlotte got their second goal in a very similar way that the SU women got their goal vs Northwestern earlier in the day. I liked in better in the women's game.
