That was one of the best plays I have ever seen in a field hockey game. Laura made a great open field clean pick of the ball from a Dukie, then dribbled (rolled?) the ball into the Duke circle, then stopped and made a great back hand shot to the far corner. The Duke goalie had no chance.

Duke almost scored seconds before, getting the ball past the SU goalie. But an SU defender (didn’t get the name, made a great hustle play, dove head first and just cleared the ball before it rolled past the goal line.

I like how this team is doing together. Watch out UNC. I think you are in trouble, even if you are playing the ACC tournament at home for the 4250th time. Pretty sure SU was supposed to host this year until the ACC used the COVID excuse to keep the tournament in North Carolina anyway...
