What happened that Murray got ejected? Read this”But at the two minute mark in the third quarter, a Miami player threw the ball at Murray, prompting a small scrum between players on either side. That’s when Murray stepped over Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi and started yelling with another Hurricanes player. After the referees reviewed the sequence, they issued her two intentional fouls, leading to her ejection.”. Did anyone see it? Nothing happened to the girl who threw the ball at her? Something had to have happened I’d think for any of this to occur. That had to really hurt SU big time.

Murray and a Miami player, I'm not sure if it was Maeva, were fighting for possession that ended up being called a jump ball. The Miami player was laying on the court after grabbing the ball away from Murray, Murray stepped over her which prompted the Miami player to toss the ball into her back. Another Miami player came over and got in Murray's face about it and the two of them started yelling at each other. Hyman came over and pulled Murray away. The refs reviewed and gave Murray 2 intentional fouls that kicked her out of the game, Miami got 2 intentional fouls I believe but on the two players that were involved so they weren't really penalized.

That's how I remember it. In surprising fashion the announcers were as shocked as I was that Murray got ejected for it.
