She’s having a very good year (5-0) at Rhode Island and I would think she’d also be a very serious candidate.

She is the way to go should the job opening be available come the end of the season. She is the future. Said it last year and will continue to do so. I appreciate FLJ but there's just something about Tammi Reiss that I feel like is special. Bring her back, we would be getting an absolute steal.

I agree, but sadly I think they were the two most likely to leave. No surprise that Emily and Q had ongoing tensions and I thought Cardoso never seemed absolutely thrilled to be here either.

Djaldi-Tabdi and Finklea would have been huge.

Actually Cardoso was the last player to leave and was thinking hard about staying. Emily was gone regardless.

Keeping Cardoso would have been huge. She would have continued being a huge impact star both defensively and offensively at SU. Dawn Staley is a great coach but she’s a bench player at SC with reduced minutes to 16/game from her 24 minutes here as a freshman. I’m certain her role will expand next year at SC, just would have happened quicker and had much more immediate impact at SU.

I think it just became a wave of momentum at the end, with nobody wanting to be the last one left to turn off the lights.

Emily was gonzo the second that became an option.
She and Q were always oil & water, for whatever reason(s).

Cardoso leaving left a big hole, literally & figuratively.

She would have been option A, B, & C on offense, and played All The Minutes here.

Oh well.
A lot of players left for what they thought were greener pastures, only to discover they likely would have been better served had they stayed.
