Tulsa and Texas Tech play 33% more football on offense than SU and BC

SU/BC average plays per game 63

Tulsa/TT average 84

If players are concerned with their absolute number of touches per game, doesn't it make sense for recruiting to play faster? Those players get to play more football.

Lets do that

That's why even though I prefer we go pass happy, if we end up hiring Frost I feel fine. He'll play at a fast enough pace that we'll throw a lot too, even though that's not always the primary focus of that offense.

Hell, some of the passing seasons in the Oregon run based offense smash our passing records.

18 yard field goals are tougher than extra points...he made a statement there

Pretty Ballsy to do an onside kick from your 10 yard line though...:noidea:
I said I had to give SS credit for doing that onside kick from the 10. NCSU I thought would definitely try to punch it in and atleast SS didn't play the scoreboard game and tried to still win the game.

That atleast should got him respect.

There was legit one option. I don't see how this should get respect?

If SS was coaching to keep it close he kicks deep and NC State knees the ball. By onside kicking he was playing to win still and NC State could have gone for a kill shot.

I am not going to be an ahole to SS even though I wanted a new HC. He showed me he was playing to win. I give him a little credit for that.
