The obvious hole in this roster is bench scoring! We have too many scoring droughts...where a scorer off the bench could light a spark. That scoring option off the bench was supposed to be Potts! She got some run in the first half...I watched her pass up a lightly contested 3, passed the ball late in shot clock and we got a shot clock violation...then she went to the bench...never to return. I don't mean to single her out, but I don't understand a designated shooter who doesn't hunt for shots. The team showed heart...but we are missing some bench scoring. I like the fight this team showed. It was a shame to waste Uche's great showing. As I look at our bench, I don't see another option for scoring but Potts. How does Coach Jack build up confidence in her this late in the season.....or as the old sports adage goes...She is ...what she is!
