Pardon the interruption -- recently moved to Providence. Would like to take family (of 5) to SU at Prov January 9 for 8 year's old bday, but see Providence requires 3 game package to get SU game. The solution is either, buy the package or stubhub, but thought I'd make sure no one has any other suggestions as to how to get 5 of best available for this game. Many thanks.

I can't wait to get out of this -ass sorry conference. These petty attempts to keep Syracuse fans out of opposing arenas are bush league. I bet there will be no package deals for SU tickets in the ACC.

I suppose it's convenient to blame the Big East conference and its member schools for everything, but it would be flat out wrong. Using access to Duke and UNC games as the litmus test, the only schools that offer single game seats are BC and FSU (and possibly Va Tech). Translation: Things are only going to get about 20 times worse.

BC:
Apparently no restrictions as you can buy UNC tix

Clemson:
Must buy 4 game package to access UNC tix, and there's a 4 ticket maximum

Duke:
Good luck

Georgia Tech:
Single game tickets to ACC games are "subject to availability" and don't go on sale until 7-14 days prior to game

Florida State:
Apparently no restrictions if you can find your way to Tallahassee, though seats are only offered in upper level and have yet to go on sale
http://www.seminoles.com/sports/m-baskbl/tickets.html

Maryland:
Single games only available for OOC games. Buy a Red/White mini-plan (10 games) to access the Duke game. Buy a separate mini-plan to access UNC game.

Miami:
Enjoy your "Weekend Pack" or your "Fan-tastic Four Plan for $250 a pop (the single game link is empty)
https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/p...77&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=28700&l=EN&team=umiami

NC State:
Single game seats for OOC games only, as we saw last year. Mini-packs for the rest.

UNC:
Good luck

Virginia:
Duke and UNC games only available as part of a package

Virginia Tech:
I don't see any place to buy single game tickets except for the school's arrangement with Stubhub
http://ev12.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncom...linkID=vtech&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

Wake Forest:
Must buy at least a "Pick 3" package

If you know any of the few season ticket holders, they can buy single game tix for you.

Short of that you can buy the 3 game package, which is not terrible compared to the seats you'd get and the price you'd pay for one game in the dome.

You could also try to wait it out and hope they put singles on sale, which they might, but I've never waited and risked it.

They won't be in providence ever again, so if you have to over pay a bit, it's not the worst thing ever.

You can always scalp Maryland tickets... Trust me, it won't be a problem... :)

jsshap, last year, single-game tickets for SU at PC became available on Ticketmaster about 14 days before the day of the game, although I don't know if that will be the case again this year.

I guess this is the price of being a successful, marquee program. Other schools need to use you every which way to make their money. I can respect that. It sucks balls, but I can respect it. I'd rather it be this way than having a crappy program and mediocre fans.

OrangeNation always finds a way to conquer arenas. We will prevail.

I've always waited and they have always released single game tickets closer to the game. I've been to 3-4 SU games there over the past years. Gotten some pretty decent seats too.

Is section 210 a good place to sit at the carrier dome?

I don't think any of the 200 level seats are bad. You would be behind the SU bench facing the side of the student section.
