Women's Lacrosse SU at Virginia (6-5): Sat Mar 21, 2 PM

I think the bigger issue is a lack of a true ball handling attacker. Guzik is a great player but not a feeder. Now that we are rotating 7 middies, I wonder if any of them could be moved to attack as a ball handler? cotter? emma m?
I agree. There were times when there were cutters seemingly open inside the defense, but they were hesitant to pass. And, there's no one willing to dodge big time to the goal. Lots of tentative play.

Looking at Virginia's schedule, lots of other teams scored way more goals against them.

uva played zone the entire game, tough to dodge against a zone. but I agree, they need to be a bit more precise and agressive passing to cutters. and shoot for the net, not stickside high, not at the goalies feet.

This team has GOTTT to get this offense going. The defense is legit, the offense on the other hand, is still an issue and playing like they did last year. too much passing and way too tentative for the amount of talent/athleticism we have, we should be dodging, playing more fast, and scoring a lot more than we have. If the staff can get this offense playing to a Syracuse standard, skies the limit.
