Keep the chat room open throughout. When it ends, copy and paste the contents of the entire chat to a text file.

I can't find the exact post explaining why this can't be done, but it has something to do with keeping the content of the chat private to registered users on the site.

I just meant it to show how someone could save it for their own private use.
