Couple of notables:

1. SU-Gtown split series 7-7
2. SU-Gtown when meeting in BET, over 50% of time games ended in OT (must be 8-14 times amazing if true)
3. Gtown 7 championships, SU 6 (we need 1 more)
4. Jim B has coached in every one of them
5. James S tied with Gerry M for most 3 pointers at 16

Other notables:
1. ND never made it to finals
2. Rutgers never did either (please verify)

AND B10 is getting a real winner in Rutgers where they were never above .500 in BE play and never beat WVA in football!

Any other notables?

i dont think rutgers ever made it to friday.

or nswefu.

probably depaul too.

Rutgers beat georgetown in 99. Geoff billett at the buzzer to get them to the semis. Thats the only time

98.

thats right, i blamed them for us losing the championship.

we went to OT with the johnnies and storz rolled easily in the semis.

oh man, the 98 BET.

33rd...no Stout. no Feile. just the Blarney, that hole in the wall next to it and the peep show. used to spend a lot of time in the pubs on 7th. the mustangs, triple play etc...

memories are all we have now...:(

heres 1...

Syracuse can be the only school to have won a title in each decade of the tournament.
