Did ESPNU go black for everyone, or just me?

I swear ESPN runs into "technical difficulties" every time they show an SU game. Every. Single. Time.

(EDIT: Came back right after Bryant scored.)

Playing from behind and being weak in the face-off X is a recipe for disaster.

Third quarter is going to decide this game, hoping SU comes out and shows why its the 1 seed and gets up by 2-4 goals. As wvlax noted, tryign to play from behind with zero faceoff help will lead to a disaster.

Anyone else no Big East logo on the jerseys?
I believe you're right.

This should be the last event in the Dome which will feature Big East logos.

The women will play Florida in the Dome Saturday.

It's a sixty minute game.

1-18 at the X isnt going to get it done. Lamo had a good second half and so did the defense. The offense was pretty much lights out in the second half.

SU wins that game going away with a better job at the X. But Massa is about as good as I've seen there. Not sure how Bryant finished below .500 with him dominating like that.

Looks like Desko decided to let them have the draw in order to set up defense, which was stifling. It was when the pressed the X that Bryant got fast break opportunities and three of their goals. Smart coaching move to me.

Also, Desko showed no counter-tactics to Yale, which has a face off man who is nearly as good as Massa.

Was this a designed strategy by Desko?

Concede the FO's but be prepared to play solid D on every possession.

Saved the trouble of having to sub Daddio off for a SSDM.

It just seems like every team we face has a great face off guy. Bryant had a great one, Yale is very good there and Carolina is strong there as well. It's crazy to think that SU could win a national title with perhaps the worst face off crew in the nation.

If we go 1/23 in the face-off X next week we will lose to Yale. Unless we improve quickly our face-off x troubles (1/23 is downright inept) will be our undoing down the stretch. You can't go 1/23 and expect to beat elite teams. We need to get up to 40% or so to have a chance for the 'ship.

I have to say that Kevin Massa is incredible. He's only a freshman, if he keeps up what he's doing he'll be one of the greatest lax players ever.

So, you're saying that things are going to get easier?

The reason they finished sub .500 is because of turnovers.

That's what it looked like to me. Harris basically just stood up and backed off the entire second half. Desko knew that Bryant was having trouble full 6 on 6.
