From 1950 to 1971 (22 seasons) we had 0.0 losing seasons. During that stretch we won exactly 2/3 of our games.
From 1971 to 1982 (12 seasons) we had only 3 winning seasons. During that stretch our winning % was .375
From 1983 to 2001 (19 seasons) we had only ONE losing season. During that stretch our winning % was .671
From 2002 to 2015 (14 seasons) we had only 3 winning seasons. During that stretch our winning % was once again .375
It is interesting that we put together roughly two 20 year stretches where we didn't have a losing season and won 2/3 of our games. Then we had about a dozen years where we only had 3 winning seasons and won barely over 1/3 of our games. If the pattern holds up, we should be about to embark on a roughly 20 years stretch of success.
