So I've posted a couple threads lamenting BC's "success" in the preseason magazines. I've learned a bit from the follow-up posts and have a begrudging respect for where they stand. In some ways I'm impressed - they sucked, they rebuilt, they brought got in some talented if under recruited kids, and they didn't cheat. Let's see what the season brings.

But let's get back to why we're here - SU football. Let's talk about the toughest QB in the league who if he stays healthy will, by himself, make the season fun. Let's talk about an experienced oline, a great recruiting class coming in and the fact that the schedule is much more manageable this year. Let's talk about a coach who is a class act and an offense that works. There's hope, and a lot to look forward to. As an SU fan, that's something worth talking about. It's been a tough run - but this is the school of Brown, Little, Davis, McNabb, Schwedes (personal fav), Tim Green, Harrison, and whole bunch of other amazing athletes and people.

Season is coming - giddy up.

It all starts in the trenches. If you look at what Addazio has done, he's been very focused on developing solid depth on both lines. It's taken 6 years for him to get to this point. I'm excited that we finally have a solid core to build around. This is the best both lines have looked as a group on paper since 2012. It's encouraging. I think we're ahead a little by having an exceptional group of quarterbacks. Together that is a solid foundation to build on.

I’m impressed with what BC has done - but they have question marks at QB and couldn’t throw last year. OL and DL are huge, but sometimes it just comes down to who has the best QB.

In more than half of our games, Dungey will be the best QB on the field.

He was last year. Lines are that important.(and def) Bc 7-5 with barely a QB. According to Athlons pre season all ACC, Ryan Finley is the only QB better than Dungey, that we face. Love the 11 wins...but..

If our line is improved(expected), we can win 6+... Some DEF question marks(LB's), but if that comes together... The basic meathead stuff, that every team needs to be good at.
