SU gets four votes in the new coaches poll

Does he even have a vote? I didn't think he did.

(and yes, I know that was a joke!)
I don't know. I assumed all of the head coaches did.

Can you believe it...rutgirls has zero votes. Has the world gone Mad?

46 teams receiving more votes. 47 ish. Best preseason rank I found was 53.

It's better that UT, GATech and surprise of surprises, Rutgers.

Seriously, better than I expected. I was thinking that most coaches wouldn't care/be impressed about a P5 team beating an FCS team.

If we win Saturday, I expect we'll get into double digit votes. Even though MTSU lost badly last week, I think many coaches put MTSU and coach Stockstill in high regard. It will be a good win Saturday, if we win.

My question, is if they win a close one, do they lose pts.(I think yes)

If they win a blowout, do they gain pts?...

Vandy got 3 votes ... I'm not sure it matters. I think it matters more what happens in other games

I believe it is more likely that one coach had us at #23 and bumped us up 1 place because a team in front of us lost than 4 coaches having us in the Top-25.

I don't think anything that happens in the next two games could move us up, unless a lot of teams lost ahead of us. The question is if we won the next two and somehow played Lsu really tough, we we turn some heads and gain some votes.

If by double digits maybe

I see us with a win up to 7-9 votes

7-9? Unlikely...

Sufandu joked Dino put cuse at 22... 22 is worth 4 pts, 23 -3pts, 24 -2pts, 25- 1pt...

Vandy preseason rank, slightly higher than cuse...(best I found was 45) They currently have 3 pts... (to cuse 4)

Curious if a blow out will get another coach to vote... Although, I think Briancuse has it right...

I think a close win looses pts... A blow out win? Even 1 more pt is a bonus..We'll know after LSU

Wait. I was joking?

I think the only way we have any votes after game 4 is if Hurricane Irma blows Baton Rouge into the Gulf.

In all seriousness, I'm very curious to see how we fare these next couple weeks. I want to get a sense of whether we've really improved as much as it appears we have.

HAH... I'm guessing you can't vote for yourself...

I'm guessing coaches can vote in the Amway poll, if they have 10 guys selling for them, with each of those having ten, and each of those 10 having 10 more...and so on... Hell. I don't even know why they even bother coaching...

A competitive game at LSU could be worth something... Only then do votes count.
