This is unbelievable

They've won 16 giving up 318 or less.

ACC teams not named Syracuse were 37-12 last year when giving up less than 320

You should win more than 61% of games where you give up under 320 yards!

At home they are 7-6 in those games.

That is truly amazing in a horrifying and depressing way.

Did you eat some statistical pixie dust for breakfast this morning?

Cannot imagine how rough it has to be on the defensive players on these teams the last few years. They make plays, force turnovers and 3 & outs, but then have to go right back in 3 plays later. They are always gassed.

We are ranked 110th in time of possession this year with an average of 27:24.

After a while, fingers have to start pointing in the locker room. It's bullshitt.

He's not even looking them up, he's just typing away.

at home since 2000 when giving up 320 or less

P 8-1
Gerg 3-1
Morone 6-4
Shafer 1-2

If you are worse than GERG at anything YOU HAVE TO GO AWAY FOREVER

keep talking about defense not being good enough knuckledraggers!

2000-2009 number of home games with less than 3 yards per play.

we are 11th worst.

You know who the worst is? Baylor! And the last time it happened for them was 2006

Let's have some more threads about how their scheme doesn't matter

Baylor did something about that. It's the greatest turnaround ever. But nooooooo we can't do that

Washington State has thrown for over 4000 yards this season and has a 1000 yard receiver. They are 2-7. Air Raid isn't a guarantee.

what would that equate to ? Syracuse should be 19-7 rather than 16-10?

that is why i mentioned baylor and not WSU. i don't want to throw every down

people talk with glee about how leach is struggling there. as if WSU is any worse off than they ever were

their yards per play gained and allowed are exactly the same. they're not as bad as their record and i bet the next couple years are much better for them

More fun than what we've got right now though.

you don't have to hire crazy people to run the air raid now. it's been enough time where people who aren't nuts have learned it.

and baylor isn't the air raid anyway

everyone loves the short QB but oh no we can't have offensive lineman in space.

widen the splits, put the WR out wider, make the defense declare their intentions, stop them from subbing in and out, and have your midget run or throw through the big lanes before he gets hit. not hard.

They have been mathematically eliminated from the post-season, we haven't been...yet. Want to ask their fans who's still having fun this season?

I don't actually care. We have to see the offense improve at some point.

Just so I follow... Wahsington State gets lots of yards and loses... so SU *shouldn't* get lots of yards?
