SU hate session yesterday at Consol/WFVU

I'd just like to say how disgusted I was with how egregious the boos were directed at SU yesterday after the "controversial" calls during the game, and the boos the rest of the night. First off, the whole arena, less the few thousand SU fans, obviously wanted to see an upset. That was bad enough.

However, I came back for the night games. Every time they showed the SU final score during the WFVU/ZAGA & OSU/LOY games, it was greeted with thundering boos. I mean LOUD. First off to the WFVU fans, go fist yourselves. You obviously shouldnt have been in the tourney. You came in droves, but Gonzaga beat the living piss out of you the whole game. To boo against Syracuse like that was ing ridiculous. The bath salt drug scene was at an all-time high last night in Pitt. Back to your moonshining and tabackyyy for now.

I love these conspiracy theories with SU. We have been a punching bag all year by everyone, but now people think that SU is getting preferential treatment? What a crock. Get a clue.

You're telling me you wouldn't want to see UNC or Duke or Kansas or Kentucky or OSU or MSU or whoever lose as a 1 seed in person? I'd be cheering like hell for the underdog in that situation. OSU fans saw that as their ticket to NOLA. Not so fast, buckeyes.

thats what you get when as the number 1 seed and 4 hrs away you get 400 fans to an arena.

Not sure what the hell happened, but that turnout was embarrassing. and on top of that everyone sat on their hands all game.

as an aside, i went to the unc-nova game at the dome in 2005ish and i was screaming all game for nova.

So true, Wife and I were surrounded by them and their anti-Boehiem rants. We pissed them off by being more vocal, it was easy because my wife grew up in Oswego. Three sitting right behind us were extremely obnoxious and became more so when they realized we were rooting for the Orange. At half time I asked them to tone it down. They laughed at us.
Mrs. Bornorange said, " Maybe we should stand up for the entire second half"
I replied, " But these gentlemen will not be able to see the game."
We then gave them our best Billy Celuck look and they shut up for the rest of the game.

I have never seen such hate for SU in Virginia as I did yesterday. I got into it with 18 people in Gainesville Virginia at a Buffalo Wild Wings. It was out of control until the 4 minute mark when I finally lost my cool. This is the reason I enjoy watching games at my house instead of going out. My birthday was yesterday so I had my buddies out with me so the Ashville fans/Su haters wised up and shut up. I never thought I would fight over something so stupid but these guys were out of control even called my buddy the n word. Thank god it ended up with them just leaving and the manager asking us to sit down and not follow them out in the parking lot. I can't imagine making the one phone call to my wife she would have killed me lol
