So, Melo was minding his business at the half and Lyke sought him out. He stood up and gave her one of those half-hearted-hug greetings you give women you know, and then they just had a quick chat. I'd guess it was <1 minute. Long enough for me to snap a picture and point it out to my mother sitting next to me. Not long enough for me to wait for the dude standing in the way to go somewhere else for a cleaner photo. Melo didn't seem to have strong emotions one way or another, the interaction was clearly notable but it didn't worry me.

Anyway sorry to start rumors but I didn't really have time to type all that on my phone at the game. Between all the stuff here, all the articles, and what I saw there, if I had to guess it would be that the job is not currently hers but also the decision isn't 100% yet. We know she wants the job, it'd only make sense for her to do a final sprint just in case. And while I know she's not our choice, it also doesn't make sense for the university to burn any bridges; who knows what she knows, where she ends up next, etc.
