Fanside article has SU in top 10 loset to NBA dtaft. I can't disagree with the ranking just their reasoning. They list the lose of Griffin as the prime reason. Apparently they didn't follow the last quarter of the season with his hot & cold performances. Won't touch that they had him as a PF. They have Guerrier as a secondary reason. I would have him first then Dolezaj for not taking his 5th year eligibility then Griffin.

This is where "biggest losers" gain a recruiting advantage bullet point.

Once Tristan got banned from the board, his life went into a tailspin.

He has officially hit rock bottom now. ;)

Its always interesting in this type of articles that Buddy returning doesn’t count or something. if he returned for a team where the coach wasn’t his dad, they’d be in the other column.

I love Buddy and his contributions. I can’t read the article but we all need to recognize the rebounding production we lose with Grif and Guerrier. Marek too.

We’ve been a poor rebounding team for a while. We better hope Sidibe’s ready to go. One of Girard’s better traits is being aggressive on the boards.

the article is specific to the draft
we didnt lose Guerrier to the draft.

not suggesting what you are saying isn’t valid...just suggesting Buddy returning should be highlighted more than AG leaving

The article seems poorly written then. We were victims to post season attrition but not necessarily the draft specifically

Technically you're right that the article was about attrition caused by the draft but Guerrier did consider going pro so in a sense that counts. However if you stick strictly to "lose to the draft" losing 1 player early to the draft hardly makes SU #10 in the country., a) because there are schools who lost more and b) considering how he played the last quarter of the seaseon, losing AG is at BEST 4th worst of the loses possible behind Richmond, Dolezaj and Guerrier and maybe even Braswell.
