Sagarin suggested -10 even with the current 3.72 pts for home court.

wow, that was quick. I finally got one right vs Marquette, and we will see if that streak continues... I will still go with the -9.5.

An interesting spread for tonight: K State -3 v. Baylor @ K State. Manhattan.Kansas is a tough place to play.

Love the cuse. Give the points.

This spread is too low. SU was -13.5 at Providence. I would think SU-11/-12 would be more in line for this game. Nova is not very good this year.

damn, my site opened at -9.5

would have loved that -8

But nova is a rival, has talent, has jay wright, a tougher away game.

I am sure all 4 went into the line.

plus dion and scoop are from philly. They have either already had 15 cheesesteaks or were out gang banging with old friends.

If by "tougher away game" you mean bigger homecourt advantage, you are grossly mistaken.

Depends if Vegas puts a call into the refs at halftime again like the Marquette game

Marquette is only -3.5 at home against St. john's. That sounds like easy money to me!

i dont think there will be 35% cuse fans tonight as there were @Prov. I may be mistaken as Nova may not have the support this year, but I went to cuse@nova 2007 and there were about 10% cuse fans.

I dont know about % of cuse fans, but dunkin donuts center or whatever its called is traditionally 1 of the tougher places to play in the big east, as louisville found out last nite. The nova game is at an nba arena, not as tough or intimidating an atmosphere, regardless of how many cuse fans there are.

Having said that, I expect nova to treat this game like their super bowl and play well. Think it will be a close game throughout, im taking the points.

isnt dunkin donuts the same as nova? its a pro hockey arena, right?

never been to prov - so i may be mistaken.

the only thing i know for sure is that it looks horrible on tv.

That would be real easy money, but the line is -13.5. Still I have Marquette 63% to cover.

Prov is a pretty average size arena. roughly 12k, no second deck. Never been 2 Philly, but I think it's about 20k or more, with multiple decks.

Generating noise in Prov is much easier due to the smaller size.

That being said, the crowd there this year for the SU game (both ways) was the quietest in the 12 years I've been going to games there.

If the line stays under 10, I'm definitely putting some money down when I get home tonight.

SU down to-8 1/2

Down to -9 at all the B&M books, and -8.5 like skan says at most online books. If you look at moneyflow, Nova has received most of it since 1:00am this morning.

9 is still alot of points to give any team (except DePaul) on the road, I will probably lay off again as I did vs Marquette.

I had K State last night (-.5) and was pissed with the ending.
