Am I the only one who doesn't think our OOC this year is all that impressive? Maryland is mediocre and Notre Dame is good, but not top notch.

Perhaps not impressive by our standards since we overschedule like crazy most years BUT still much tougher than most P5 schools roll out in a given season.

Looking at the the two behind them and realizing that they have over scheduled. That Big 10 jump has really improved them a lot! In a 64 team field, they should be #65.

SU played a Maryland team that was really hurt by injuries in their WR and LB units. If you want to throw the word mediocre at them then it applies to SU as well.
ND is a top 20 team.

FSU's OOC looks a lot tougher than it really is. Florida has been down and no one actually believes this coach can, well, coach. Probably another losing season before they can dump him.
Oklahoma State is a paper tiger and not really ready for FSU. They play offense but FSU plays offense and defense. Defense is a word not often used in the Big 12 these days (both Texas and Oklahoma made concerted efforts to shore up their D's last season and have a good shot at ruling the Big 12 this season because they did). OSU will not be able to hang defensively with FSU's Offense (not that many teams can) and FSU's Defense will probably match up well with OSU's Offense. I don't think OSU would do well v. Clemson, either.
I still they they get the nod for toughest schedule.
