Great achievement. Props to the players, the coaches and the AD office.

Let's hope men's lacrosse and women's basketball can be brought to the levels of the women's lax and men's basketball teams. And go SU softball (they are going to have to overachieve to get to where they got this past year).

Unfortunately, we are at the point of the year where we tumble a bit (winter sports), but we are well on our way to a potential top 40 finish, which would be another nice step in the right direction to finishing top 25 as TGD has proclaimed as his goal.

Really nice job by the fall sports though. Great start.

DG took a huge hit for the GR hire and most would agree that was a huge mistake (but maybe the mistake was the timing of P firing as it forced him to make a quick hire but that's another issue). However, the man deserves a tremendous amount of credit for the sports teams, on the whole. Then recent efforts to market the Univ to ensure its place in the ACC, to ensure the hoops program continues to be a top 10 team, etc, I'd say he's been a real success (assuming DM continues to trend up...).
