So I wanted to post this here, because I had an amazing time tailgating for yesterdays game...in North Carolina.
A large group of friends recently moved to the Raleigh/Charlotte area and all decided to get together for the SU game yesterday. We decided to tailgate at the NC State/Southern Alabama game yesterday, which was a great decision. After getting in (not telling how haha) to the student tailgating section, we set up our tent, our Syracuse boards, our TV & wireless internet connection, our generator, ect.. and then the party started.
We were the only orange in the whole section right across the street from the stadium. Tons of NC State fans kept coming over to ask why we were there. We didn't encounter any animosity, which I was prepared for. Many asked if we were trying to see how the ACC tailgates were before we came. We had some great discussions and a lot of students commented about how good Syracuse was from last years game. It was a great time and am looking forward to many more.
