I couldn't help it, I had to look it up. Pretty interesting. There was one player I wondered about but ultimately didn't think finished as high as he did.

Floyd Little with TWO top five finishes! And three straight years with a top five player. Pretty amazing.
I would have never guessed 3 straight years.
Freeney should have been higher. His impact on a 10-3 team (that started 0-2) was worthy of better. Being held several times in the Miami game, against perhaps the greatest team of all time, sunk him.
doubtfulDid Qadry Ismail ever finish top 5?
Seven times an SU player has finished in the Top 5 Heisman voting. Can you name all of those players? Bonus if you get the years right. (No Googling allowed.)

I believe he started the year with a number of consecutive games with 2 sacks before teams got smarter and did whatever they had to try to contain him. There's no telling exactly how many of the interceptions that year were because of him. And the coaches said he could have had better numbers had he just went for sacks all the time instead of playing his assignment.I would have never guessed 3 straight years.
