I can't envision a world where AG doesn't play 30+ for a number of reasons

Yeah, even when his shot isn’t falling, he’s a superb rebounder - especially for his height.
And athletic enough that he should, eventually, be an asset in the zone D.

Yes...but doesn't seem to be a situation of his shot not falling.
It seems an issue of being more disciplined in his shot selection.
There are 4 other guys to whom he can pass.

Yupp. In general he just plays as hard as anyone we've had in a while, that gives him a longer leash with my criticism haha

Taking away minutes from a highly regarded transfer from a P5 program this early in the season certainly wouldn't help us recruiting transfers in the future, either. I'm confident that he'll settle into the role that we need him in, and if he doesn't then it'll be time for him to spend some more time on the pine.

I agree his early chucks are as responsible for break outs and easy buckets as anyone. He and JG3 also seem to have a heat check shot after they make one in a row. Drives me a little crazy.

Kid is not a creator. He’s a good shooter. Just needs to take good shots when they’re there and move the ball when they’re not. We had zero problems getting shots off. It’s not like 2018-19 where Battle had to go all hero ball for us to even get a shot up.

IMO he should be sat down every time he makes a selfish play. And he’s blatantly made a few of them so far. We don’t suck. We got other guys. He’s gotta play the right way and find his role.

Not sure we’ve got a veteran leader to check somebody when they need it. Coaches gotta do it.
