Ground rules: a "directional"  is a state school, (sorry Northeastern, Northwestern and Western Reserve), whose name consists of a direction (East or Eastern, Central or Middle, etc.)  and the name of the state. if the direction is part of the name of the sate, that doesn't count, (sorry North Carolina). I decided that "East Carolina" is really "East North Carolina" and included them.
