Jo Jo Marasco is seriously overrated as a player - at least that's my take to date.  And Palasek is feeder but our offense is so one on one iso based that having a pure feeder is worthless.  When he has the ball behind we're not sending middie cutters and we're not picking around the crease.  I think i'd bench Palasek and put Marasco on attack; move the best #2 mid up to the 1 line.
 
One thing I wonder if it would help is to get Lecky to play both ways.  Put him on the d-mid line as well as with the ones.  I'd really like to go back to the old days of having mids be able to play both O and D - that would really boost the transition game.
 
One more quick thought after reading the latest article is that again shooting is a problem.  I just don't know for the life of me why Syracuse shooters refuse to bounce shots.  From the article, "For the better part of three quarters they were content to shoot high shots right into the goalie’s stick."  “We kept shooting high to high,” Desko said.
