Hard to find fault with our team as we are dominating but if we want to win the Natty, we need to tighten up on D.

Defense is going to take some time to mesh. They have to replace a 2.5 year starter (and AA) in goal and three 3 year starters on defense including an AA in Goodale and the backer in Simpkin's (basically the QB of the D). It will be easier for the D to develop cohesiveness against better teams. You get lulled into a false sense of sercurity/success against weaker comp.

Agreed… it is game one so I’m not too worried about it yet. I’m looking forward to the Northwestern game in the Dome. That game will tell me a ton. We have to get past Maryland and UNC though first.

I know its 1 game but to me BC & UNC look to be a cut above everyone else.

I agree. Watched the BC game on delay. They look like an absolute wagon again. As for UNC, Chloe Humphrey is going to be a major problem for everyone for the next 4 years. She doesn't have the size of Kayla, but her skillset and 2 handedness are very similar.
