Just a quick thought, but instead of just having a "Humor" board, maybe we could just make one for Politics/News (the current OT board) and one for Entertainment.

Politics/News - People can argue about politics and call each other names, or post news stories and then argue about politics and call each other names.

Entertainment - Talk about TV shows, music, post funny and pictures of JLH.

The funny thing is there is more bitterness between posters on the basketball and football forum than in the politics board imo.
