Post game pressers by both Dino and Dungey seemed to indicate that competition lit a fire under ED. (Sounds about right as he is such a fierce competitor.) Eric said he got too comfortable. Nobody mentioned injury or being banged up. Guess we will know the real scoop after the season is over. Certainly didn't look like anything was wrong with Dungey's arm from beginning to the end of the game. Dino said both QBs were fantastic all week during practice. Referring to the competition, he said Dungey was like Seabiscuit - "all you have to do is show him the whip. You don't have to use it, just show it to him." Whatever the case, Eric played the game of his life. He stayed in the pocket and made good decisions. He was clearly pass first and run as last resort. Seems obvious that was the game plan and what they practiced. Nothing short of this brilliant effort was needed to beat a very good Wolfpack team. Was surprised to see TD go in at the end of the 1st half. I am a huge Tommy fan, but not of two quarterbacks. If ED is healthy and playing well just leave him in. We have 4 regular season games left and if Dungey stays healthy and can pass let's ride Seabiscuit. I can wait for Devito's time at the helm. Mrs Crusty was ill all week and got worse as the day wore on. She really wanted to go to the game but just crashed and I did not want to leave her. Can't believe we missed the best game of the year. However, after sleeping through the game on tv, she now wants to delay heading South until after the Louisville game!
