Suck it Rutgers...

Believe it or not...one of their posters asked if Dodd's 1st half performance was good enough to get him an NFL look.

Without question, the single most clueless and delusional fan base in the universe.

For the guy that holds the head phones? I don't see why not...

You mean the guy who walks behind the coach and keeps the line from getting tangled. Which is an obsolete position since they now go wireless. So the answer is no. No chance.

Losing record and a sinking ship, they are in trouble. Next year should be fun.

That's EXACTLY what I meant.

OUCH!!! Rutgers probably won't get bowl payout. AAC keeping all the money

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...ll-have-their-bowl-payment-withheld-from-aac/

"If Rutgers does not receive the $1.5 million bowl payout from the conference, it is likely the university will be one of many schools to take a hit in the pockets this bowl season. Rutgers turned a slim profit the last time they played in the Pinstripe Bowl, and the budgeted bowl payout was expected to be needed in order for the school to record a profit this year as well."

If by "profit" they include the millions in aid they receive from NJSU and student fees, then yea. In any other business this just means a bigger loss.

Of course, this is common business. Their bowl share will simply be applied to their exit fee.

Profit only meaning the bowl game. That still doesn't address the dumpsterfire that is the rest of the program and athletic department.

The league has also withheld money from the the exit fees collected from SU/Pitt/LV/etc. Best money SU ever spent.
