Your question and premise is a good one. If there was ever a year to have extra practice and games for all of the newbies to develop chemistry, this is it. Unfortunately, college teams are only allowed one of the those junkets abroad every four years. We are going to have a lot of learning on the job this year, and we will undoubtedly see a rotation that evolves (perhaps markedly) as the season goes on.

This would be a good year to not leave the state of NY until January, and schedule all cupcakes in the nonconference other than the preseason tourney.
