Super Bowls used to have the reputation for being one-sided and boring. For the first couple of decades, most of the games were dominated by one team but were not horrendous blow-outs: 16-7, 23-7, 14-7, 16-6, a couple of 27-10, etc. Then we had a decade of truly one-sided games: 38-9, 38-16, 46-10, 39-20, 42-10, 55-10, 52-17, 49-23. But since the mid 90’s most of the games have been competitive and several came right down to the wire.
I decided to ranked the Super Bowls by the final margin of victory. Instead of the roman numerals, I’ll just indicate the year in which the game was played.

16 Super Bowls have been decided by a touchdown or less and 9 of them have been since 1998, (15 years). Super Bowls are pretty super these days.
