For all those media pundits who still feel that SU's overall schedule and/or road schedule has been insufficient to justify our number one poll ranking:

Syracuse #1 RPI, #1 SOS
Kentucky #8 RPI, #57 SOS
Ohio State #11 RPI, #41 SOS
UNC #22 RPI, #66 SOS

(as per CBS Sportsline)

Doesn't matter. ESPN's view of the world is that Onondaga County borders every state in the union.

Of those three, given their respective league schedules, it would seem only Ohio State could make a meaningful move in SOS.

But we dont play a "frightening road game" until february. So now its not enough that we play a road game, they gotta be "frightening" road games lol

What other team does espn make those kind of distinctions for??????????????????????????????

The Stat Sheet website (http://statsheet.com/mcb/rankings/RPI) actually projects end of season SOS. In it:

SU drops from 1 to 7
Michigan State jumps from 12 to 1
Uconn jumps from 7 to 2
Kentucky rises from 72 to 53
Ohio State jumps from 51 to 14
UNC rises from 78 to 33

(Stat Sheet obviously uses different methodology as it has different SOS current rankings for Ky, Ohio State and UNC than CBS Sportsline)
