- Offense Still in Neutral
– No way around it: this offense has been brutal. If Collins is the QB again and the same slow starts show up, SU will be punting early and often. Field goals won’t beat a team that can score in bunches. - UNC Finding Its Groove
– North Carolina’s been inconsistent, yes but lately, they’ve shown flashes of putting it all together. If they carry that momentum into the Dome, they’ve got the weapons to exploit Syracuse’s secondary. - Bill Belichick Factor
– The legendary coach’s system hasn’t clicked every week, but when it does, it looks sharp and efficient. If UNC executes his style cleanly controlled, methodical, and disciplined it could expose SU’s young defense. - Offensive Line Woes
– Protection continues to be a sore spot. If the line can’t hold long enough to let plays develop, it doesn’t matter who’s at QB the offense will be one-dimensional and predictable. - Missed Opportunities
– The Orange have had their chances all season but can’t seem to capitalize: dropped balls, stalled red-zone drives, or fourth-down failures. Another game like that, and UNC will make them pay. How will the new center play? - Fatigue and Frustration
– After several tough losses, emotional fatigue becomes real. If the offense sputters again early, the defense could wear down under the pressure of carrying the load. - If the Mystery QB Struggles
– A new QB can spark energy or sink fast if the lights are too bright. If the switch happens and the execution isn’t there, it could get ugly early.
