The last paragraph is pure BS.  No way they EVER write that about Duke, UNC, UK, KU, OSU, etc.  Hell, they would never have written that about Louisville if they were there.  They would be lauding Louisville for playing without some key guys.

UNC beat a mediocre Mich St team, beat a solid Wisc team, lost to a really good UK team and lost to a not so good UNLV team.  I would equate their Wisc win to our win over Florida.  Decent, but not great...right now.  OSU beat Duke and lost to KU.  Duke lost to OSU but beat an overrated KU team and an 'eh' Michigan team.  UK beat UNC and KU but lost to a so-so Indiana squad.  I don't see any of the other top 5 teams deserving of leapfrogging us.  Everyone's schedule has positives and negatives.

If ESPN wants to play that game, though, I would argue that they should give KU the number one spot based on SOS alone.  Who cares that they've lost 2 games.  They lost to Duke and UK, so that really shouldn't count against them, right?  And they beat OSU.  So,  Ohio State.  ;)
